Where it can take you

Routes people actually follow, from a first qualification through to the job at the end of it. Each one shows the stages in order and roughly how long they take.

Paying for your studies

You tell us on the form what you expect. It commits you to nothing and it is not a funding decision — it only tells us which conversation to have with you.

SETA funded
A learnership or programme funded through a SETA.
NSFAS
You apply to NSFAS yourself, on the NSFAS portal. Telling us here does not apply for you — but it does tell us to expect it.
Industry or employer funded
Your employer or a company is paying for your studies.
Self-funded
You or your family are paying.

Questions

The things applicants ask most often.

No. You fill in the form and you are given a reference number. Keep it — you use it with your ID number to check your application.

Choose Passport on the form and enter your passport number instead.

Yes. A full intake still takes applications and puts them on the waiting list. If someone declines a place, the waiting list is offered it in turn.

No.

NSFAS applications are made to NSFAS directly, on their own portal — not here. Choosing NSFAS on our form tells the college to expect it, but it does not apply on your behalf.

Use Check an application at the top of this page, with your reference number and ID number. It tells you where your application has got to and whether anything is needed from you.
